I did this last year. Here's another...

* What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?

I went to a Nebraska Texas A&M game. A Nebraska game I have done before... Texas A&M. Nope. It was great. Lots of rich traditions, and some silly ones.

* Did you keep your New Year's resolutions and will you make more for next year?

Not all year long. Just off and on, when it was convenient for me.

* What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?

Play time. I can never get enough of it, and the older I get with more responsibilities.. the fewer and fewer play times I have. Oh, to be a kid again.

* What date from 2005 will remain etched in your memory, and why?

August something. HA! It was the first day at my new job as Children's ministry director, for a great church! It was also the day that I could rejoice in the fact that God know best! I have such a control issue in my relationship with Him, and this whole job interview/process/and getting (excuse my poor grammar) was SO NOT a control issue for me. That was HUGE! A big milestone in my relationship with the Father! I was stressed out about keeping a job at Boys Ranch, and when they told me I was no longer needed... God just made the transition so easy and flawless! Oh, how good it is to serve such a FAITHFUL King!

* What was your biggest achievement of the year?

I kinda answered this in the question above. But lets just say that my biggest achievement was truly letting God be the Lord of my life!

* What was your biggest failure?

My attitude. I hate to let people down. And I don't like it when others don't like me. I get all defensive and pouty and then I get down right sassy.

* What was the best thing you bought?

A HOUSE! A house, a house, a house! A HOOOUUUSSSEEE! (I am singing here people!)

* Where did most of your money go?

Bills, bills and more bills! Clothes, Christmas, shoes, GAS, and travels! Fun stuff!

*Are you happier or sadder compared to this time last year?

Happier. I am no longer wondering where I stand in a job, or feeling like I have to prove myself to a community of 1,000 + people. Luke and I have a great home, new car, old car, adorable puppy, and my best friend and sister in law (same person) is living with us! Not to mention... I LOVE MY JOB! AND Luke and I finally have a church home. If I weren't lazy, I would put that first, but... I'm feeling lazy.

*Are you thinner or fatter?

The EXACT SAME! (FRUSTRATION TO THE MAX!)

* Are you richer or poorer?

Richer in love, does anything else matter? I think not!

* What do you wish you'd done more of?

Keeping up with older friends. Like friends from the past, not old older friends.

* What do you wish you'd done less of?

Spending money. I should just overall be much more wise in that department. HA! Kara made a joke. Get it? Department... as in department store... funny? Funny? Okay. Never mind.

* Did you fall in love in 2005?

Every single day, over and over again!

* What was your favorite TV program?

can I get a "What-What" for some Grey's Anatomy? Anyone? Anyone?

* What was your favorite movie this year?

I don't go to the movies much. But I did see invincible and Facing the Giants! I highly recommend them both. They WILL be in my little movie collection!

* What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?

Well, let's see... another year of partying all month long. We started out on a Trip with mom and dad to see a Nebraska game at Texas A&M. Then we all came back to Amarillo to start working on the new house. Mom and I painted almost everyday. Dad bought Luke and I some stuff to help us "fix up" the house. Then we had lots of birthday dinners, and ended off with a birthday breakfast! FUN TIMES!

* What one thing would have made your year more satisfying?

I don't wanna say. I don't want to live with any regrets anymore... so why put them down? the past is the past. All I can do now is live in the moment and for the future!

* What political issue/statement stirred you the most?

Rosie vs. Trump Just teasing! I didn't really get stirred politically this year. Now... church stuff... that's a different matter! Not my church, per-say, just churches in general.

* Who did/do you miss?

Xana, Malcolm, Madalyn, mom, dad, Corren, Danny, Leslie, Leah, Ryan, Larry, Eric, Brett, Stacia, and many more!

* Who was the best new person you met?

Ummm... I can't just say one person, so I will say the body of Christ at West Amarillo Christian. :) It's true. I'm not just trying to kiss up here folks. They really are a great family. Luke and I are honored to be a part!

Feel free to comment on how your year went. Let's bless God in our lives and life style this next year... sound good? (Also feel free to copy and paste and do it on your blog. I think these things are fun to read!)

1. I guess I fit both categories of older friend.

2. I miss your parents too, and I missed them when I visited Renovatus while I was in town with my parents too, so they must be hard targets.
