So last night I got a little preview of what it has been like for Luke living with me while prego.
I had a bad day at eating, but I was in a rather delightful mood anyway. I was helping my friend at her job and wasn't able to get food from my starving belly. Knowing that Luke would be home before me, I called his office to ask him to bring me something home. He wasn't available, so the lady I talked to was very nice and left a detailed message for him, stating that baby and Mommy were hungry and he needed to stop and bring something home to us.
Well, I got off work a little earlier than I had anticipated and went home and had some yogurt. I know Luke would be bringing something home, so I tried not to eat everything in the house!
When Luke got home he had a huge bag from Subway. He looked at me and said, "I didn't know what you would want so I got you three different sandwiches."
HA! I laughed SO LOUD! It was the sweetest thing I think he has ever done. But I also felt a little bad, because I have been very picky lately. I am usually the type that no matter where we go to eat I have at least one thing I will always like. Not true since being prego! Al of the sandwiches he got were perfect. I will confess though, one of them was a sandwich HE likes as well, so when I didn't pick that one, he ate it. Then both of our tummies were happy!
He even said that he tried to get the toppings that he didn't think would make me burp (needless to say this has been a problem lately. Indigestion... NOT my friend!).
What a guy. This is why I love this man. Always willing to serve, and always with a cheerful heart. But... maybe I could work on being a little less... how you say... scary demanding picky?
I'm pregnant. I have an excuse. But only for three more months!

I picked the roasted chicken breats and saved the tuna for lunch the next day. Luke let me have a bite or two of the meatball he got as well. That was the one he wanted in the first place, but I have been known to steal his meatball sandwich and leave him with the rest of my tuna. But I figured since he was so wonderful to me... I'd let him have the one he wanted. :) It's the least I could do really (sarcasam people)!
