Here's the thing folks... hardly anyone comments! I don't really know why this bugs me so much, but I like to hear from people. I get sad when no one calls for a while, I get sad when no one emails for a while. I even get sad when all I get in the snail mail is bills! I put this blog together so that I could let all of you know what's going on, and I must admit. I feel a little short changed. No one ever tells me what THEIR up to! Besides the blogs that I view, those that email reguarly, and those that call me at leat once a week... what must I do to hear from you people?!?!?!
I do understand the not wanting to comment. There it is, out there for everyone to read! Sometimes comments become too much drama, and sometimes they are really lame. Like I don't ever have drama, and like I'm not lame all the stinkn' time! I still love and adore you lame drama freaks out there and I want to here from you! Work with me here people! At least give me a, "What's up?" Or a, "Holler!" (Pronounced Holla) And don't forget to leave your name, so I know who's reading up on the Deal fam and can pray for you and think of you. "Think of you fondly, when you say goodbye, good bye" Oh, sorry. I'll stop type singing now. (and yes, I know... I don't always leave comments either. But I DO eamil!)
So, this week was back to normal. Nothing to stress over. Maddie got her first set of shots on Saturday. That was exciting. But a little disturbing too. I think Luke and I are a little too obsessed over this puppy. She goes to work with me most days because I can't stand to hear her yelp and scream when I put her in her cage. I'm also scared her little bladder will burst if I leave her more than 6 hours. Don't laugh at me! (I know you are, Danny!) This thing on the internet said their bladders are smaller than we think when they are puppies and they WON"T pee in the same area as they sleep. That cage isn't small, but it isn't big either. I would hate for her to have to pee all over herself in there. Would YOU want to sleep on your pee? Didn't think so.
Going on... Maddie, up until two nights ago, was sleeping on the couch with either Mommy or Daddy. Yes, Luke and I call each other Mommy and Daddy to this child..uh... I mean, puppy. ;) And when she sleeps on the couch with one of us, this means the other is in the bedroom. Alone. For three weeks! So... she does sleep in her cage now. We thought this would be a great thing... but Luke now sleeps on the floor next to the cage so she won't bark and whine and I am still alone in the bed. Yup, it is safe to say that we are tied around that sweet little paw of hers.
And along the same lines... I have been amazed to find that both Luke and I are very willing to let her chew on things, I would have never thought would be okay before. (was that English?) Like my shoes. Lukes too for that matter. Just one pair, but still... MY SHOES! I think I would let her chew on my favorite dress if it would keep her sharp little teeth off of ME! MAN those things are sharp!
Oh, back to the vet visit. Maddie's check up went well and she barely whimpered when she got her shot. YAY, Maddie! I know it sounds silly... all of this for a dog? Well, like Lukie says... "Whatever it takes for us to have something to care for that is less expensive than a baby, while Mommy is finishing school! "
Isn't he sweet? ;P
We got some sad and bummer dude news today. Luke's great Uncle passed away in his sleep last night. Uncle Jerry is now with Jesus. Please keep the Deal family and the Brown family in your prayers. ALso, please pray for LArry to be able to get to the funeral, and for Luke and I to have a safe travel to Oklahoma City.
Till next time, and maybe some more recent pictures of Maddie, ~The Deal's~

I comment, but do you comment on my blog? I didn't think so.
Your baby sounds wonderful. Remember that it only takes a couple of nights of h-l- and then she will quit whining. If you want her to sleep alone you have to do it now. Be strong, I know you can.
I love the pics you post. You are right your parents are adorable. I wish I could see them more.
Blessings from Portland.
