So... I have nothing to blog about!
Work is going well. I am stressing out over fall festival! I have painted my office and I HATE the yellow that is on three of my walls. The green is cool, but kinda streak-y. The kids are cute and the office staff are fun. The parents are wonderful and very helpful! This makes me happy and it makes my heart smile as well. OH! I ahve a second job, that I LOVE! I am a photographer's assistant! IT's great fun! The photogrpher that I work with takes all of the pictures for the kids Inc. sports teams here in Amarillo. It is too fun! These little tiny soccar players, football players and cheerleaders come in and pose for the camera. They are so sweet. Well... most of them are. What's with 3rd-6th grade boys not being able to keep their hands off of each other! They drive me crazy, slapping eachothers pads and playing tag in out tiny little room! But they're cute, mostly.
Luke is trained to be a canoe and kyak instructor now. He's excited, and my mom is excited becasue now she can fulfill her dream of doing the whole "Paddle Seattle" thing with a son-in-law who can teach her. (I'm not sure Luke's too excited about the Puget Sound paddeling thing, but whatever! Luke is also playing softball on the church team and likes it. He too has a little side job now. He helps clean up and re-arrange the church platform after weekend weddings! A little extrat cash is always nice!
We are trying to find a house! It has been really hard with our different schedules though. So we've looked at more of the outside of houses than any insides. But, one will come. We liked one, put in an offer, and it was already undercontract. BUMMER!
Some way exciting news is that Luke and I, along with my Mommie and Daddie, will be going to the Nebraska football game when they play Texas A&M. We will get to go to the Houston area, and maybe Luke will meet more family! But we are so EXCITED about the game! (THANKS MOM AND DAD!)
Maddie is big and longing for a yard to run around and play in. She's a big girl now and doesn't have to stay in her box when we leave for work! She still barks when we leave, but she's been great about not tearing up things or going potty on the floor!
OKAY. most boring post ever. if you didn't make it to the end, it's okay. we're still friends. xana... this post is for you. i have a feeling that you are probably the only one who made it to the end. thank you and i love you!

Yes, I made it to the end and I loved it! Thanks for catching me up! I am so glad that Luke can paddle Seattle with mom now! We should probably tell him about the whole Golden Gate bridge experience! Just teasing you mom! :) Love you guys!
Xana
I made it to the end, too! I am a dedicated friend, don't you know? But it wasn't a chore--I love to hear about your life, sweetie. How exciting that you're looking for a house! YAY!
I think it's time for a puppy picture or two!
Oh, if you're looking for a nice buttery yellow, I always get compliments on the shade I used in our kitchen. I'm pretty sure it's one of those Disney shades from Home Depot, and I think it's called Flowers for Roo. Of course, you may be sick of painting and decide to just leave the one you've got--TOTALLY understandable! That's probably what I'd do. (But I'm old and lazy.)
wow, sounds like you guys have alot going on! thats always nice though, to be busy with your honey! how old is your puppy now? violet is about 10 months and quite entertaining!
anyway, i like hearing about your life and im glad someone else blogs about painting. :)
Hey Tara! MAddie is like 10 or 11 months old now! She's a cutie... I'm going to take some pictures soon and post them. She's going to be a pumpkin for holloween, and we are going to make her white coat orange with kool-aid. So... this should e very entertaining!
thanks Gina and Xana! I didn't mean to be a snob. Thanks for being devoted and true!
Gina~ I am loking for more of a light buck color. My mom has it in her living room, and it's really hard to find. I think I might just co with a light brown-ish carmel color. My theme is jungle, I think that would be a better fit. But thanks for the color tip!
Xana~ I've already told him the Golden Gate story. Infact... EVERY TIME I wear the shirt mom and dad got us (like fifty years later) I tell that story!
Mom and Dad ~ I tease, I tease! Teasy-weasy! I love my shirt and I love the memory! But mom, you can't back out on Lukie! He won't have Xana, me and Wayne-bo to go with! It would just be him all by himself!
Kay, later dudes!
Oooh, jungle! Does that mean I get to call you a monkey?
Awwww--Wayne-bo! I haven't seen him in, like, 10 years. I miss that boy-who-is-obviously-no-longer-a-boy. He's a sweetie pie.
