Tons of stuff going on in my life these days! It is really starting to drive me crazy. Seriously.
But the one thing that I do want to share... being an adult really bites! Not really all that shocking. Luke and I are trying to have babies. I say babies, because I think it would be really cool to have twins. So maybe if I just say babies, my body will fulfill my prophecy.
Why is it that some married people just have to breath on each other and out pops a bay, and others have this long, dumb waiting period? Please don't answer that. It's not a topic I really want to go into, it's just one I needed to get off my chest!
So, topic change...
I am now a Red Wing Shoe saleswoman. yup-er-roos! I have a second job. For like a month now! It is awesome. But if you don't like feet... don't ever do it! Kay?
I get to see all kinds of farmers and oil riggers, and such. Makes for god story telling at home. Though I don't think I ever hung out with my friend chelan long enough to absorb good storytelling-ness. she's the best I've ever known.
Yeah, sad update, but that's all I have time for!

I think it's exciting that you and Luke are ready to start a family. You will be in my prayers. blessings!
Puppies are better than kids. If a puppy does something bad you can lock it in a crate and no one gets mad. Once trained you can leave a puppy at home and not have to worry about it and no one gets mad. Just stick with the pooches, your life will be better.
;)
HUGS to you Kara! :)
I hear you on how frustrating it can be, waiting to get pregnant. It took us 7 months, then we had to wait another 9 months to meet our little boy. Just try to remember that God has it all figured out and he'll give you exactly what you need when the time is right. He's gotten you this far, he's not going to ditch you now.
And in the meantime, you ought to read the book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Wexler. Actually, I don't think that last name is quite right, but it starts with a W. Anyway, it's full of really helpful, practical information. I got A's in Health Class and am generally pretty aware of things, but I never knew a bunch of the stuff in this book. It can really help you figure out what's going on with your reproductive system and help you maximize your chances.
I'll be praying for patience and for good results!
Thanks guys. You're all sweet! It's still a touchy subject for me in the fact that I am still weirded out when I share our experience. IT feels weird to tell people your trying to have a baby. It's just a whole new thing, and I'm still processing my thoughts on it all.
obviously, i have been through all of this non-pregnancy crap, and it sucks and is not fun. it sucks when people "accidently" get pregers, when weve been trying for almost 3 years...ya, thats awsome. anyway, it always made me feel a smidge better when i talked to people who were actualy going through the same thing as me, as opposed to having a baby on their wedding night. (although yea for them) so all that to say i will send up some heartfelt prayers on your behalf. love you!
Tara_ I had to send in my passport for a name change and I got it back in time(mind you we were suppose to leave on a Tuesday and I got it THAT MONDAY!) But I got it. Luke... still waiting. so the sooner the better!
Love ya, and thankx for the heartfelt prayers. I've said my fair share for you too! It's like we're twins or something. Only, I'm not going to ethiopia. HAve fun with the government stuff!
