A VERY quick update...
I was put on bed rest. It stunk (stinks). I was put on bed rest the DAY BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY!! So I turned 28 in bed. Thanksgiving was interesting too... it is hard to eat at a 45 degree angle.
I went to the hospital on Monday because I scared the Doctor and had really high blood pressure. They thought I had toxemia (sp?), but I don't, so I left. I had to collect my pee for 24 hours! That was an adventure that I am sure you are glad to know about! :)
Yesterday the Doctor said I could get up 30 min at lunch and 30 min at dinner. Which sounds good... but I still can't DO anything! So basically I can stand and watch T.V. or stand and make a lunch or dinner... but I can't bend over, pick up anything, or anything of the like. So yeah, that's the update!
It's amazing how quickly the morning and evening time goes, but the afternoon time is a drag and a half! That's when I need my peep's! The jury is still out on when Mom is coming down, because the jury is also out on when baby will come. ME being 1+, 50% and -2 for two weeks is a good thing. But this also means I could be 1+, 50%, and -2 until Jan. 3! (Just like my friend Trina said... HI!!!) (HI!!! to Gela too! I miss you and hope you become a fellow Texan with me too! Our number has changed, but if you still have Mom and Dad's number, they'll give it to you I am sure!)

That just rots that you're stuck on bed rest...but it is MUCH better than what my silly brain had conjured up.
I'll have to look up how far ahead of us you are (time) and call you this afternoon. =)

Bed rest...yuck! I am kind of jealous (I would love to lay in bed and have someone else look after my kids, but only for a day!) And when you are that pregnant, you can't get comfortable in bed anyway! I would be miserable all day long. For your sake, I hope the baby comes soon, but not too soon - we want a healthy baby too! At least you are still at home and not in a hospital bed...
Mike, Jesse, Rebecca and I would still love to come see you guys, but with this whole bed rest thing you just need to let us know if and when we can. Our parents are coming down for Christmas Dec 15-23 but any time after that is good for us. And if you want to wait and see when the baby is born, that's okay too. Just let us know (you can email or facebook me).

Ok, so I totally dropped the ball and didn't call you. Grrr. I forgot the kids had a half day at school...then I got a call that Hadley had thrown up at school. She's been doing this really weird vomiting thing. Never a dull moment with that girl. Anyway, Brandon is deploying again in a few days. He'll be gone until mid February. So, it's not a long patrol...just at a kind of cruddy time. =( This is our last weekend with him home. I'll try and call on Monday. My email address is at the bottom of Had's web page (if you have a laptop and are able to sit online in bed)...if not...BORROW one girl. LOL! Email your phone number otay. If I don't hear from you I'll just call your Mama.

I'm sorry you have to be on bed rest! I've been praying for you and babykins! I should call your sweet mama and get your number--I'm so bad about calling peoplle, but I would love to talk to you and keep you company while Bennett naps in the afternoon.
