December

I'm off bed rest as of Monday and the baby can come anytime now and it will all be dandy fine!

Enough about baby. Don't get me wrong, we are really excited, but I am so anxious about the delivery that I am trying not to think about it all the time. Which, by the way, is extremely hard to do!

So, Luke's parents are coming in for Christmas, as well as Eric (his brother) and his girlfriend that I have never met. They say she's shy... which if you know me, means a challenge, and oh, how I love my challenges! I love making shy people talk. I know, I'm a weirdo... but it's kinda fun to take people out of their little comfort zone and watch them squirm. It sounds mean, but I really think I am doing them a favor. You know, helping them stretch and grow and stuff! Of course, I have never been shy, so I might actually be torturing them... but I am usually 100% interested in actually getting to know them better. You have to TALK in order to do that! So that should be fun (for me anyway, hopefully her too and we'll become life long friends)!

Luke's Canadian sister, Leah, is coming with her hubby (who is a little shy too, but I think he's use to me now... hopefully) and we are More than excited to see them! We haven't seen her since their wedding OVER a YEAR ago! Canada kept her under lock and key for a while there, but now they have decided that she can be one of them and they are willing to let her go. :)

My parents are going to Calgary to visit my Canadian sister, that is... if my baby doesn't decide to come before Christmas. In that event... they will be here for the Holiday. We shall see about all of that craziness. It's been cool being pregnant with my sister and all, but it's starting to make Mom a little nervous about where she needs to be and when. I have faith it will all work out, but these babies are all on a schedule of their own!

Work is good, life is good, family is good. We can't really complain! The weather is a little bi-polar around these parts, but other than that we are just boring old people who are going to parents! CRAZY!

YAY for being off bedrest! And yay for family coming to see you at Christmas! (I have a feeling they'll be seeing a new baby Deal, too.)

So, are you going to have a voting pool on Baby Deal's arrival date/gender/birth weight? I think you should! In fact, I am going to give my (currently unsolicited) guess:

December 18, GIRL, 8 pounds even

I love you and I'll be praying that your delivery is safe and as easy as possible. You can do it, Babe!

Kara the point of the guessing game is to name an actual date not seven. ;) I am so glad to hear that you are no long on bed rest and I am anxiously awaiting to read about and see pictures, lot's of pictures I might add, of baby Deal and family! Love and prayers.

Yes, the mother is wishing she could be in two places at once! I'm honored that you want to be a mommy just like me!
