Okay, here's the REAL DEAL! HA!!!

So... Gina and Brett are cracking me up! Gina was right though, not about the 20 comment thing, but about how I just couldn't tear myself away from my sweet little girl! AND Luke and I don't currently have the internet at our house, so I had to wait until I went to my office. But you will be happy toknow that I am posting first, before I order the cirriculum I need for a calss here at church. I know who my priorities are people! (yes, I said who and not what, because ya'll are deffinatly my priority when it comes to the internet... well today anyway.)

So Lillyan Annette Deal was born January 2, 2008 and weighted 7lbs. 10 oz. She was 19 3/4 inches and has a TON of hair! Labor was great! I opted for the epidural and was so happy with my decision to do so that I boldy claimed I could give birth everyday of my life as long as there was an epidural in the house! But then I got to experience the after part, and... let's just say... not so much! I'mm up for another one, MAYBE two... but that'll be all folks! The epidural helped Luke and I have a great experience together and the Monster I can become barely came out pre-epidural. Post-epidural... Luke and I were friends, and I was back to my silly ways... the nurse was so great and my Dr. is the bomb-diggity!

And to answer Gina's question about how you pronounce it... Lillyan is one word. Not like Lilly Ann. My grandmother spelled it Lillian... if that helps any.

Yes... I kow I put two of the same pictures up... but I'm a goober like that! And my spellcheck isn't working, so pardon me for being lazy and a horrible speller, it's one of my many talents.
Love ya'll! Feel free to gush and comment! :)

Awwwwwwww! Look at your pretty little baby girl! I want to kiss her little pink cheeks and pet her tiny little head. She looks so snuggly and content--Mommy must be taking good care of her!

I love the pictures--I think the one where she's laying on the chest of someone wearing black and hold tight to their finger is my favorite, but they're all so darling! She seems really alert and bright-eyed.

I'm glad to hear that labor was good--much better than a nightmare that leaves you deciding that having an only child is the only way to go!

I love that you named her after your Grandma, and I was secretly hoping that you didn't pronounce it Lilly Ann. Much better your way!

I'm so happy for you I can hardly stand it! Give her a couple dozen kisses from me! Thanks again for the pictures--we won't complain if you post lots of them every single day! (Look at the time stamp--it's almost 1 am here. I got up from bed because I realized that since I was only home for 15 minutes the entire day, I hadn't checked for pictures yet. That's dedication!)

She is so beautiful! Look at that sweet little face. I like the one where she is sleeping and holding (is it your) finger. Just precious. Congratulations!

I can't wait to meet her royal sweetness and hug your sweet Mama neck. =)

Thanks guys! I love that you all love my baby! I am grinning ear to ear!

Yes, it is my finger she is holding and my body she is laying on. I could post more pictures of that little photo session with Auntie Dani, but I wanted to spot light the little one, not so much me. AND I HATE the way I look in the one's I am in... guess it's just a girl thing.

Love you all and wish we could all be together in real world, not so much the internet world.

Hugs and kisses to each of your faces and necks!

OK, I gave it a week and you finally posted!!! SHE IS GORGEOUS!! You and Luke make cute kids so you should have more!!

I am sending you my stuff this week and I even found a book for you to share with her when she gets older. The book is more for you Kara (Luke to, but it is about a mom and a daughter). Beckie found it in in our "Chapters" bookstore (like Barnes and Noble to you guys) and she started bawling in the middle of the store. I am not sending it to you because I want you to bawl but it is a really cute book. I hope you like it. Plus, I got some nice shirts and stuff for her...I hope she hasn't grown too much in the passed few weeks. The are three-six months so they should be ok.

Anyways, I just wanted to say that I all three of you and am so proud that you and Luke are FINALLY parents. I already know how awesome you will be at parenting so now I just get to sit back and watch (as long as you post more on your blog) ha ha ha!

Luke, this one is for you buddy (so Kara you have to tell him or show him this). NOW YOU CAN DO BE LIKE THE DAD IN 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU now that you have a daughter!!! I can't wait to see what you will say to her when she is 16!! I watched that movie awhile ago and thought of you!!!

Love to all three of you!!
